A life insurance contract is a powerful tool for patrimonial transmission.
It is based on the third-party beneficiary contract mechanism: you deposit a premium with Cardif Lux International which is committed to pay, under the conditions defined in the contract, a revalued capital to a designated beneficiary.
The flexibility of the beneficiary clause allows a beneficiary to be designated, who:
- will receive the benefits upon expiry of the contract, if the insured party remains alive
- will receive the benefits before the expiry of the contract, in the event of the death of the insured party
In some of the European countries, the revalued capital collected by the beneficiaries is not part of the successional assets of the subscriber.
